We need your help - call your local leaders!

Thank you for helping to ensure our local leaders make a key ask of Governor Walker and Lt. Governor Mallott. Phone calls have the highest impact on the decisions made by elected officials. Making this phone call will just take a minute or two of your time.

Governor Walker and Lt. Governor Mallott still have not yet taken the simple step of requesting, in writing, that the U.S. government defend Alaska’s transboundary salmon rivers with enforceable protections. We’ve delivered nearly ten thousand of your signatures to this administration, but clearly we need to increase the pressure. We must show the Governor and Lt. Governor that Southeast Alaska is a strong and unified front when it comes to defending one of our greatest resources: wild salmon.

Talking Points

I'm calling Mayor/Rep __________ to:
  • Let him/her know how important wild healthy salmon are to my way of life (make your message as personal as possible); and
  • Ask him/her to send a letter to Governor Walker and Lt. Governor Mallott calling on the State of Alaska to request, in writing, that the U.S. government defend our transboundary salmon rivers with enforceable protections.

And/Or Call Governor Walker & Lt. Governor Mallott directly!
